Ashton Participates in 2014 Jeans Day

Jeans Day is a fundraising effort created by the BC Children's Hospital Foundation in order to help raise money for research and new technologies to help BC's sick kids.

The idea behind Jean's Day is that for one day employees and students alike get to shirk their normal office attire and uniforms for a chance to sport their best denim. Donations of $5.00 and $20.00 dollars get participants a 2014 Jeans Day button or lapel pin respectively.

Each year participating organizations across the province (and the Yukon) raise more than one million dollars! Ashton College staff jumped at the chance to help out this worth while cause and came to the office Thursday morning wearing their finest jeans. In addition, Ashton College raised a total of $180!
