Jeyanthi, Valaitham
Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and I have attained my certificate in Orientation to the Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context from University of Toronto.
I have more than 12 years of extensive work experiences in both clinical and educational settings in India, Malaysia and Canada. Aside from being an educator, I was elected as a curriculum specialist and was selected as a staff representative to attend the International Health Science Conference in 2012 Jeyanthi has also earned an Excellence Award in 2013 and Educator of the Year nomination.
I always strive to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to realize their full potential. I believe that my students are most successful when they feel valued as individuals.
The best part of my job as an instructor is working and interacting with people on campus. My hobbies and interests include gardening and spending time with family and friends.
I consider myself very privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of the Ashton College faculty and would like to continue to empower my students to have a high capacity for both independent and collaborative work.
